Ammon received the award... from the coaches of Wrestler of the week!!!

He has been a great team leader!!

There are five wrestlers on the team who are from our church ward; Nathan & Jacob Proffit, Easten Larson (girl) and Mark & Ammon. On Wednesday night, they had a ton of support from the youth of the ward (and their leaders)

THANKS FOR COMING AND SUPPORTING THE TEAM!!!!

I am especially impressed, because wrestling is confusing! I mean, I don't even understand all the moves/ point etc. and I have been watching my boys for the last 15 years! so I am always grateful for those who come to support the kids.

One thing I will say however, is that it is a lot of fun to watch even if you don't know what is going on!! It's a loud sport! lots of cheering and excitement. I have a hard time when I go watch another sport and it is so quiet! wrestling fans are just fun and excited!!

Ok, well I had good intentions!

Ana came down with Strep throat last weekend. Luckily I went on my mothers intuition and

got into the Dr. right away. In fact the Dr. even questioned if the test was really right!! thank goodness he gave her some meds... she has been SICK!

and then...

For the last week, I have felt some incredible pain in my mouth! affecting the whole right side of my face and my head/major headache... so come to find out (and embarrassed to admit) that I needed a root canal! I don't think I have even been so nervous to go to the dentist! (and unfortunately I've had my share of cavities) So, Tuesday morning I was in the dentist chair, numbed to the hilt, listening to my ipod for some distractions.... and what do you know it wasn't that bad. Or at least I didn't feel a bit of pain. In fact, when they were close to being done, I could feel the pressure in my head go away! nice.

However, today... PAIN PAIN PAIN... I am thinking I am in need of some meds! tylenol and advil haven't touched it! OUCH. (I have a call into the dentist!)

Jan. 28th, Liz had her 39th birthday. Dear friends planned a wonderful breakfast for me! (Donna, Adele, Chelsea, Kimberly, Michelle, Linda)

and then Chelsea took my girls for the rest of the day!

Rob and I went out to Lunch and then Rob fixed dinner! yup, it was a great day!~

Rob gave me a beautiful bouquet of flowers. And I got a lense for my camera for my birthday!!!

The girls got to participate in a cheer clinic up at the high school, and then perform what they learned at the girls basketball game (yes girls, there are other sports other than wrestling!)

Ana had a smile on her face the whole time while cheering.

Mckaye was watching the cheer leader on the side, so this is as good as it gets!! she LOVED it!!

Ammon took 3rd place at 135 lbs.!!!

Micah took first in 160lbs.

Mark took 1st place at 171lbs. His first, first place in a tournament... he was so HAPPY!!
Micah received the outstanding wrestler of the tournament, voted on by the coaches.

At the Marysville Premier, the guys did great!! Micah (160lbs,) and Mark (171 lbs.) both took first and Ammon (135lbs) took second place. I couldn't get them to just give me a "normal" smile!!!

Micah won the outstanding wrestler of the tournament, voted on my all the coaches.

On Jan. 2nd, we went to my niece Kaeley's baptism down in Federal Way. It was so great! She was so happy. In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, we believe that a child reaches the age of accountability at age 8, and at that time it is when we are baptized by immersion. They are dressed in white to symbolize purity.

Thanks for being such a great example Kaeley!! WE love you!

On New years, The older three boys went to Vancouver, WA for a wrestling tournament, and I took the four younger one's to the Everett children's museum where they had a ton of New year crafts and fun things to do. That night we went to our friends, the Gidewall's, for a New Year's party. What a blast!! we played games all night! We rushed home just before the new year because Rob was hard a work doing his job!! (so he could go to the wrestling the next day) so we said Happy new year with Daddy (well, actually all the kids fell asleep on the way home! yes!!!I love it when that happens)

I have always wanted to go see the Pacific Northwest Ballet's Nutcracker! So my dear friend, Amy and I took our daughters and went to see it during Christmas. It was SO wonderful !! we had seats in the 3rd row... it was just magical.

Christmas at a cabin! We went to Wenatchee for Christmas this year. We rented a cabin/house for a few nights and played games, opened gifts, went skiing and just had a fabulous time together!!

Here the guys are playing "ticket to ride Euope" they stayed up until ab out 2 in the morning each night laughing and having a great time!

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 2009!!!

To our many family and friends who are finding our blog, we welcome you.

This is something new for our family... as I sat last year doing our picture collage

newsletter, I knew it was going to be the last! Thanks to technology, I can post through the year, and you can check back every once in a while and see what we are up to!!

As this year draws to a close, we are happy to look back and see what we've accomplished and MORE importantly who has been a part of our lives. He are so grateful for loving family and dear friends.

We hope at this Christmas season, you will take the time to remember the one little baby that it is all about, Jesus Christ. We, as a family have a strong testimony and conviction that HE LIVES! We love him and his life and example for us to follow.

McKaye is 3 and in pre-school

She is such a sweet girl most of the time, and the other time... STUBBORN!!! She is either telling me that I am the bestest mommy in the world or the meanest!! When she grows up, she wants to be a rock star!

she is taking dance class with Ana and is loving it!! She dances and sings all the time! She is our little sweetheart, and we all adore her!!

For Christmas, she wants Barbie's, Polly pockets and candy!!

Ana is 5 and in Kindergarten

She is LOVING kindergarten. Ana can already read many sight words, and is learning quick and having fun. The hardest part is waking up in the morning!! She loves doing any kind of art, and is constantly drawing beautiful pictures for everyone. She said she wants to be an artist when she grows up! She is a sweet girl, and wants makeup for Christmas!

Shane is 7, and in the 2nd grade

He is working hard at school and doing real well. We are especially pleased with his spelling and reading. He had a hard time last year with his reading, so we are so thrilled that it has finally "clicked" for him!! He can pick up most anything and read!

Other than that, he just loves to play!! He's got many good friends, and can always find some fun things to do. Shane is looking forward to skiing this Christmas break!

For Christmas Shane wants a race car set!

Peder is 13 and in the 7th grade

He graduated from el. school last spring and was very excited to move onto middle school.

This fall he was on the 7th grade football team and had a lot of fun. He also helps me out a ton with the little kids. He's a great baby sitter! (and is very rich also)

During the summer, he got to do an acting camp for two weeks, and perform Suessical the Musical at the end of the camp for us. It was great!

He also went to scout camp in August, and has a great scout troop that gets out and goes camping each month.

Peder is into the game Warhammer. It's a strategy game, kind of like risk, however you have little figures that you paint, and make your army with (He and Mark are both into it) They have 6+ hour battles with their friends who are also into it.

Peder also enjoys reading books, and spending as much time with his friends as possible!!

For Christmas Peder wants more warhammer pieces!

Ammon is 15 and a sophomore in high school.

Last spring he was in the school musical, Guys and Dolls, and had a blast.

This summer he enjoyed going to wrestling camps and to the National Freestyle comp. in ND.

In Aug., he went back packing with the teachers quorum at church and did about 25 miles! lots of fun!

This fall he played football, which he loves!! if only he were much bigger!!!

He is wrestling on the varsity team at 140lbs, and having a lot of fun.

one of his favorite classes in school is shop. He is great at all that technical/creative stuff.

Ammon wants a long board for Christmas!

Mark is 16 and a Junior in high school.

Last spring he did the high jump in track. He was only able to compete the last half of the season, because he had an injury to his shoulder that he was recovering from. He also spent most of the summer healing from the same injury. But, he isn't the moping type, he had a lot of fun with his friends, while his brothers were away.

He did get to go on the 50 mile hike in Aug, and enjoyed that a lot.

This fall, he played football again and had so much fun! He is into the wrestling season now, and is doing amazing at 189 lbs (going down to 171 soon)! his record so far is 11-1!!

He continues to do art (drawing and painting). He is very talented!

Mark wants his license for Christmas (and more warhammer too)!!

Micah is 18 and a senior in high school!!

Last Spring he tried something new, and was in the school musical, Guys and Dolls, and found out that he can sing and act!!

He competed in the WA state Freestyle tournament last spring and placed first, so he went on to the National camp and comp. in Fargo, ND. (This was his first freestyle season)

He spent his summer at wrestling camps in MI, and WA. and also enjoyed hiking with the priest quorum at church for their 50 miler.

This fall, he did cross country and completed his Eagle Project in scouting. He is now officially an Eagle Scout!!!

He has also visited a few College campuses and is in the process of applying and trying to decide where he wants to go next year. He knows he want to wrestle, and he wants to study communications and firefighting. We'll have to keep you posted~!

He is now enjoying his last wrestling season in high school, is wrestling at 160 lbs. and at this point is 10-0!!

Micah wants a laptop for Christmas!

Liz (I) am trying to get used to living in a constant state of exhaustion! Trying to keep up with seven kids and their busy schedules (ok, mainly the oldest four, while dragging the younger 3 along!) No, really it is tiring, but I know it is so worth it (or so I've been told by those who's kids are grown and gone!) Other than the kids, I have fun taking pictures of other people and their beautiful families (you can check out my photography blog by clicking on the link on the right), reading a good book when I can (mostly listening to them on my ipod) and I really enjoyed training (walked about 450 miles during training) for and walking in the Breast Cancer 3-day walk in Sept. It was an amazing experience! I would of never thought I could walk 60 miles in 3 days! I raised almost $3000.00 for the cause and met some amazing life long friends in the process. If you were one of those who donated, I again thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

Rob had a good time this year going hiking with Micah and Mark on a 50 miler, working on Micah's Eagle project this fall, spending time with the guys and working on wrestling skills, watching Micah and Ammon as part of the Washington state team at the National comp. in July in Fargo, ND (Liz got to go too) and also stayed plenty busy with work and travel.

Last Saturday (Dec. 19th) we had our ward Christmas Santa Breakfast. It was yummy food, good friends and Santa of course!!

Mark was asked to Tolo by his fried, Annaliese, They had a great time. Mark always has a blast while dancing! (I think it might be in the jeans) We don't do tux rentals for all the dances (just prom), so Mark was excited to get a new suit coat that would be worn more that just once. He's so handsome!

On the 5th of December, Micah went to Tolo with his girlfriend, Amanda. We went over to one his friends house's (Alex) and met with the group of friends that were all going to the dance together.

Family Home Evening- Each Sunday or Monday night, we take an evening to spend as a family. On this night, Ammon had the lesson, he did an object lesson... something to do with doing what is right, satan tempting us, and when that happens..

Alright, here I go trying my hand at actually writing a post instead of using pictures!

About a month ago, after getting Shane and Ana onto the school bus one morning, the bus driver waved me over so she could talk to me. She related what had happened the day before...

Ana who was sitting right behind her hauled off and hit the bus driver on the back of the head!!! The bus driver said, "Ana, you can't do that!" and Ana's reply... grey slug bug...no tag backs!

She said the other bus drivers were having a good laugh over that one!!

(and for those of you who don't know the "game" when you see a VW bug, you say those words, although in our house it is forbidden!!! (and that was even before this happened)

This is Juliann, and her cute son Adam (one of her three kids) She came from N.H. for the wedding. She too was one of my young women. I was so fun to spend time with her again. She's so beautiful! ( this picture was suppose to be where the duplicate is below, but since I don't know how to rearrange, that's just how it is!)

On November 21st, our dear friend of many years, Rachel, married Sean Quigley, in the Draper Utah, LDS temple for time and for all Eternity!! We are so happy for Rachel and Sean. It was also so great to see all of her family and many other friends who made it for the wedding also.

Here we are at a dinner the night before for a surprise bridal shower and a baby shower too!

Rachel and Dana were best friends and two of my behives in young womens, when they were babysitting for us 14 years ago!!! We love them both! and many times when our boys would get hurt or in trouble, they would ask for either Dana or Rachel!!! (btw, Dana is having a BOY at the end of Jan!!!)
While in Salt Lake Rob and I visited Temple Square. This is part of the huge life sized Nativity that they have on the lawn. It was very cool!
Rob and I. This was also a get away to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary! and frankly I was just looking forward to SLEEPING... (I am in a constant state of exhaustion from my busy life) Well, Rob met me in SL, after spending two weeks flying around the world for work (Japan, Korea, France) so his body was on a totally different schedule!! the first morning when I had planned to catch up on much needed sleep, I was awaken by a light on.. I asked what time it was, he said 5 AM!!!! and I was so ticked off, I couldn't even get back to sleep!!! (I forgave him eventually!!!) -

This year for Halloween, we had the proffit kids come over and go trick or treating with us, in our neighborhood, then Shane and Ana went again with their good friends from next door~~ they got a lot of candy!!!

And when I developed the prints... I was very surprised what I found!!! enjoy!

Micah's Eagel Project

In October, Micah completed his Eagle Project. He made a camp sight and table with the help of a huge number of great friends!!! It was neat to see the transformation of the sight and he was so grateful for all the support from friends.

20 Year High School Reunion!! I graduated from Redmond High School, and we had our reunion last weekend. What a trip! so great to see old friends and talk. High school was such a blast! and most of these people were why it was so fun...this is about half of our "group" that we hung out with in high school, sure missed all those who didn't come!!
It was fun to see Matt and Debbie Schupp also, great friends. (Matt was my prom date)

On Sept 11-13th, I walked in the Breast Cancer 3-day, 60 mile walk. It was such a great and hard experience! I met amazing people and just had a blast. Not to mention some very sore feet and legs!! - Thanks to everyone who helped me by donating to my fundraising! a sea of pink walkers- 2200 walkers raise over 5 million in Seattle!
Most of the time I walked with an amazing women, Stephanie! here we are taking cancer down!!
We slept in pink tents!! very cool! here I am on the second morning with a few of my team mates- kindred spirits rock!
Stephanie and I on the third day at Greenlake. The first day we walked 21.6 miles, the second day we walked 21.7 miles (very hard day!) and the third day we walked 15 miles.
Closing ceremonies! we are so excited when we walked into the memorial stadium and see our families cheering us on!

Peder was in a two week acting camp. At the end of the two weeks, they performed for families. They did Suessical the Musical. One of our all time favorites! He was one of the Rickasham brothers. He did a great job and had a lot of fun.

Micah and Ammon were able to go to the National Wrestling competition in Fargo, ND in July as part of the Washington team. This was for freestyle and Grecco roman. Rob and I flew there to see all the action. It was a lot of fun!

Ammon met Cael Sanderson. Ammon told Cael his name, and Cael said "Ammon, are you LDS?"Ammon said yes! - Cael said "so am I" (we already knew that), he is an amazing wrestler.
this is the "black market" of wrestling. Everyone sells or trades their wrestling singlets, jackets, shorts, whatever!! very crazy! the guys made some good trades.

Penny & I did a hot dog fundraiser (for the 3-day walk for Breast cancer) at the local Blockbuster video store. It was so hot that day,

84* , we were there for about 5 hours and many of my friends stoped by by to support me, and buy some hot dogs for their families. THANKS!!!

One year ago, on Father's Day, my father (Arthur Glenn Eves Jr.) passed away. We miss him, and his spirit and beautiful voice. He is a good man. I am so grateful that we are an eternal family, We will be together again. I love you Daddy!! Happy Father's Day.

Our Cousin, Nathan came for a visit, while he was in the Seattle area, (and before he drove to Alaska along with a friend). We had a lot of fun playing games and chatting. - Nathan is living in Colorado right now (originally from NY) going to grad. school - awesome guy!

On June 10th, we sent balloons to Evan and wished him a happy 2nd birthday. Evan passed away last Sept.- What a touching birthday. I had just met Bridget (mommy to Evan) in Sept. at church. She has 4 boys and was just about to have a little girl. - I felt an instant connection. Two days later, Evan died and one week later, baby Jocelyn was born. How does one deal with the loss? I know it hasn't been easy for this amazing family. I am grateful to know them and of their devotion and love for one another and the gospel. Thanks Bridget and Tymon for sharing with us!

For Memorial Day we met a few friends at Flowing lake and played for the day.

Mark turned 16 on April 30th - We had quite a few teens over to celebrate!!

We had a band!!! Micah's friend from Camano Island (Howard Willard - white shirt on guitar) and friends came and played for us. THEY WERE SO AWESOME!!! (even the five police units that showed up at our house just as the party was ending agreed!) not sure what they are calling themselves, so I'll just call them the "Howard Flash Band" - they played for about an hour and it was great! anyone looking for a band, give me a call, I'll hook you up!
John Flyod and Mark have been friends since they were 1 year old! John came and visited from CA!!

The spring musical was Guys and Dolls. Micah and Ammon both had a part in it, and they had such a blast!! Micah played the part of Harry the Horse and Ammon was one of the crap shooters also (no name) They both realized that they can sing! and act! (I guess all those silly reunion talent shows payed off!)

The Play was outstanding! I went to every perfomance! It was student directed for both the acting and the orchestra. They ended up adding three more shows because it was so popular!

Another thing that came from this, is that all three boys tried out for a select choir called Crimson singers and they all made it!! (there are only about 18 students in this choir)

Mark did the high jump for track again this year. This is at a meet at Monroe H.S. This was the only time I got to see him, because he was injured for the first half of the season (an injury from wrestling) He did great, although I am not sure how high he got?? sorry, I'm not good at remembering details! I am thinking 10' somthing???

This is the wonderful DeFreese family. We went up to Camano Island to visit for church on the day little Koby was blessed in April. Megan (the mommy of Koby) was one of my laurels about 5-6 years ago, when I was pregnant with Ana. I also got to teach Megan's older sister Rachel (who is not in the picture) and all four of the girls, and Micah their oldest brother, all baby sat for us when the older guys were little. It was the neatest experience to sit in gospel doctrine class right behind the Defreese family. I watch them all grow up and to see them all now as adults, all I can say it... what an amazing family! I feel so privileged to know each one of them. I love you all so much!

Our Yearly Easter Egg Wrestling tradition. So much fun!! we had a house full! - it deals with raw eggs, colored like a person, named with a names like "Pablo-egg" or "target-egg" or "Utah-egg" basically whatever name you can think of with egg or yolk etc.. in the name. You roll them down a ramp towards each other and whom ever draws "yolk" first is out!!!

We had a blast visiting with Rebecca and Family in Marysville, CA for spring break. I was in major need of some sunshine!! (It was a long grey winter here in WA!) While in CA, I was loving just sitting out in the sun and soaking it up!! The kids loved playing with their cousins! We had some fun visiting the Jelly Belly factory and Six flags!! Mark, Ammon and Peder went on one roller coaster ride seven times in a row, and were all sick after that!! The little kids and I had fun in the kiddy park. One of the high lights of the day was seeing the killer whale show. Shane found out the hard way, that when you sit in the wet zone, that you WILL get wet!! Shane, Ana and Mckaye also LOVED dancing with Bug's, tweety and Daffy. What a fun day!!

Girls Weedend, Salt Lake City, UT

The first weekend of March, I was able to go spend the weekend with three of my sister, in Salt Lake. We went to a comedy club - very funny (Like "who's line is it" show) We went to a spa and got facials and manicures/pedicures. We went to a play that was a parody of High school musical called "Home school musical" It was so funny! We did a little shopping and on Sunday we went to see the spoken word on Temple square. I had never done that before and it was really nice. My sister Rebecca took some pictures of the four of us in the empty train/bus station. And then on Monday, we went through the Draper temple open house before heading back home.

For year, SHS wrestling has been closely associated with the Perry family. But now, the sport may have another dominating name. Micah, Mark and Ammon Morrill all were a part of the SHS wrestling team this past season. Not only is it rare for three siblings to be on the same sports team, but the Morrill brothers all competed on varsity.

Originally from Camano Island, The Morrills moved to Illinois in 2004, only to move back to Snohomish in 2008. And if that insn't crazy enough, Micah, Mark and Ammon are only the oldest three of seven kids, Micah being the oldest (a junior), followed by sophomore Mark, and freshman Ammon.

All three were quick to point to their father, Rob Morrill, as the person who kick-started their wrestling career. "Wrestling has been something that's been in my family for a while, " said Rob, as his father (Micah, Mark and Ammon's Grandfather) was a wrestling coach. "I got them into the little league program when they were younger, much like most parents will sign their kids up for little league baseball or basketball," said their father.

The trio of wrestlers not only got an early start, they also have had a mat-room for themselves in their house for five years. Mark said his dad "loves to pull us aside in the wrestling room and help us do drills and develop better skills."

"Micah, as the oldest, has to take a natural role of leadership," said Coach Zabel. "A lot of time it's challenging (being the oldest). Sometime I don't like it. Sometimes, I Love it," said Micah, summarizing his role of being the oldest Morrill. However, when it comes to having bretheren on varsity alongside him, "I love it!" said Micah, "Actually, it was one of the coolest things ever. It was probably one of the best wresting memories I've had, wrestiling with all of them on varsity."

Although he said that they may not be as focused as him, Micah gave credit to both of his brohers as being "very hard workers. They have great personalities; I love them, he added, " and also, they're both single."

The sophmore, Mark "is very relaxed. He likes to think things through," said Zabel. Reflecting on his brother-teammates, Mark said, " At first, it was kind of weird having brothers on the team. When your've got that kind of competition, it really helps your perfomance." Although he may be relaxed, Mark is also very determined. "I plan on going to State in the future, and I plan to win," he said with all seriousness.

Mark, as Zabel commented, likes to think about everything, and has even analyzed his brothers' wrestling styles. "Micah is an interesting match," reflected Mark. "He's quick to execute his plan, and is very steadfast. Ammon, on the other hand, hasn't developed his own style of wrestling yet." However, he still admits that Ammon has some "crazy moves and doesn't like losing." and so has a good chance of improving in years to come.

"Ammon is a goofball, he loves attention. He even names moves after himself," laghed Zabel. Ammon did not start on varsity team, but eventually moved up to the same level of his two brothers. "It's pretty cool being on varsity with my brothers, but there is a lot of pressure. And my brother's like to kinda mess with me sometimes," said Ammon, "but usually it's really nice. Whenever I wrestle they come up and give me tips and tell me how to act and everything. It's really nice that they're looking out for me."

Ammon respects his older brothers, especially Micah. "He's really cool," said Ammon, " I love watching him wrestle. He's just really cool and help's me a lot." He said he also looks up to Mark, but laughed at the same time, saying, "Mark's just a big sofie."

Overall, "They're good kids," said Zabel. Rob Morrill agrees, and said "I'm just proud of my boys... All of them. It's cool to see them grow into student-athletes and young men."

Mark was nominated by his classmate to be in the Mr. SHS competiton. there were only two guys from each grade that took part. It was a spoof on a male pageant. It was so funny!! He did a great job! The above picture is his "casual attire" with his escort, they did a little dance.
Mark's "sport's attire" his wrestling uni. He came out to the Rocky song and ripped his shirt and pant's off. The crowd was going crazy!!

Ana turned 5 on the 1st of March. We had a fun family party. She got her new outfit (and Mckaye got a matching one too) She also got a scooter and a back pack for next year when she goes to Kindergarten!!

Micah went to the Dr. yesterday to get his colliflower ear drained, so it wouldn't harden! He was a little bumbed to find out that he couldn't practice for a few days. Not sure if he's following the Dr. advice right now or not? He's at practice!!!!

This is after the Dr. numbed his ear.
Pre-drain (Dr. wouldn't let me me take pictures while he was doing it), but he took a needle and drained it, they pinched his ear and got the rest of the blood out.
If you can't tell, the Dr. stitched Micah's ear together, like a quilt! To keep the layers together while it heals.
Micah with his head wrapped to keep pressure on his ear. I asked when I could take it off (assuming he would say later that day). The Dr. said he needs to leave it on until he come's back to see me in a few dayS!!! I was teasing Micah, because he had a date planned for that afternoon with some friends. THe Dr. said "'go for the pitty!"

Rob is always checking out web sights that have good exercises for the boys, one of them he found, was where a guy did stand-ups using his wife as the weight, so they had to try it!! Ana was glad to play the weight!

Mark and Micah got their Letter Jackets for their Christmas gifts. We went and ordered them

on Christmas Eve, and they just came in, so here they are modeling them!!! (Mark kept on closing his eyes when I took the picture so I told him to open his eyes when I said "3!"
Micah lettered twice (before this year) in wrestling and once in cross country. Mark lettered in wrestling once and track once. (so far)

Prep Roundup: Morrill brothers help Snohomish dominate

SNOHOMISH - After moving all the way from Illinois, the three Morrill brothers seem to be fitting in quite nicely to the Snohomish wrestling team's winning ways.

The Panthers won all but one match on Senoir Night, posting a 63-5 victory over Marysville-Pilchuch to improve their record to 6-1 in the Wesco North and 9-2 overall.

"It's kind of been a pleasenat surprise with them (Morrill brother's) on the team" Snohomish head coach Rob Zabel said. "We are pretty fortunate to have them."

Ammon Morrill won by decision in the 130-pound class, Micah Morrill pinned his opponent in 1 minute 42 seconds in the 152-pound class, and Mark Morrill pinned his opponent in 3:45 in teh 171-pound class.

On Saturday, Micah, Mark and Ammon participated in the Panther Classic. A wrestling meet that Snohomish hosts. Ammon lost one, won one (to the varsity wrestler on our team, so he may be going on the varsity team, if he can beat him again this week in a challenge match for the spot- he's excited about that) , and then lost again!

mark Won 2 out of three, then in the finals, his apponent didn't show up?? He placed 3rd.

Micah won all three of his matches, and then in the finals, he lost a very close match, and got

second place.

The team took 1st place at the tournament.

I worked the conssesion stand the first half of the day, and Rob helped also. Then around lunch time, I went home and got peder and the little kids (so nice living in town!! and having a built in babysitter) We all went back and were there until 8p.m.~

We all slept really good that night!!

The night before, on Friday night was a big match between Snohomish and Lk. Stevens, who is the major rival. It was a dissapointing match, because all three boys lost their matches, but wrestled so hard! But, like most dissapointing losses, you learn from your mistakes, and wrestle better.
